SUMMARY:2025 Veteran's Charity Event
DESCRIPTION:Let’s make year #3 the best yet!  In 2023 we raised $4k and delivered backpacks full of essentials for 40 Veteran’s in need living at the domiciliary here is Prescott.  In 2024 we raised $6k+ and gave away 60 $100 Gift Cards from Costco; we added ride alongs\, and a hotdog lunch for all Veterans who attended as well.  This year we are aiming for $8k so we can provide even more gift cards!  Help us with whatever amount is possible using this link:  DONATE TODAY: HERE.  There is approximately 100 Veteran’s living at the domiciliary this year\, so we need a robust fundraising campaign. \nIf you want to join in on the fun day of the event\, we welcome all members to come and offer rides or just be with the Veterans to offer support and gratitude for what they do for us.  REGISTER TODAY: HERE \nIf you have already told us\, you will be a driver\, no worries we have you down\, but register on MSR anyway so we have a complete list of attendees.  We will use the MSR list for communications as the event gets closer.  Please Contact the organizers: Lorraine  Friedman  friedmanlorrainem@gmail.com or Keith Guidus at keithguidus@gmail.com to sign up to join the drive along or if you have questions. \nDetails\n\nSaturday\, November 8th – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm\nNorthern Arizona VA Care Center — Turn into the center and go straight to 1st parking lot on the left to join the event.\nTENTATIVE Schedule\n\n10:00am for “Drive Along” Volunteers to assemble\nLunch at 11:30 am -1:00 pm\nEvent ends at 2:00 pm\n\n\n\nThis is our signature event of the year\, hoping to see you there. DESCRIPTION:Following up from the very successful event in 2023\, the Region will once again be serving our Veterans.  This year beyond donating to the cause\, members can sign up to give veterans rides on November 16 and sponsor lunch for themselves and a veteran at the Northern Arizona VA Care Center.  Last year we raised $4\,000 together and this year we approaching the goal of over $6\,000. \nDetails\n\nSaturday\, November 16th  – 10:00 am  – 2:00 pm\nNorthern Arizona VA Care Center — Turn into the center and go straight to 1st parking lot on the left to join the event.\nSchedule\n\n10:00am for “Drive Along” Volunteers to assemble\nLunch at 11:30 am -1:00 pm\nEvent ends around 2:00 pm\nSponsor lunch for yourself and the vets.  2 for 1 hot dog meal- $20.00.  Includes two hot dogs\, two french fries and two drinks.  Even if you’re not attending you can buy a meal for a Vet in advance. — Buy a meal HERE\nRegistration to attend on November 16 is HERE.\nYou can still donate to the overall effort HERE.\n\n\n\nQuestions\n\nContact Lorraine Friedman at friedmanlorrainem@gmail.com\n\n \n

SUMMARY:Veteran's Assistance Delivery Event
