SUMMARY:Winter in Wickenburg Driving Tour
DESCRIPTION:This is a beautiful drive to the warmer environs of Wickenburg on February 22nd. There we will have lunch at Rancho de Los Caballeros. Pleaser register HERE. \nDetails\nSaturday\, February 22\, 2025 – meet at 10:00 AM in the parking lot area close to Pangea Bakery located at Gail Gardner Way & Iron Springs Rd in Prescott. Drivers meeting and PCA waiver signing\, etc. prior to departure at 10:30AM with arrival at the restaurant in Wickenburg around Noon. \nIt is anticipated that we will run two drive groups departing a few minutes apart. \nThe drive will proceed from the starting point through Skull Valley to Hwy 89 then South to Wickenburg. DESCRIPTION:Join your Arizona Mountain Region friends for a drive on the “Southern” Route to Lake Havasu on January 10th-12th\, 2025 and take in the magnificent Balloon Fest!  The activities will include time on your own to explore the Balloon Fest\, a team dinner and more.  Exact schedule is in development.  You can book rooms\, buy Balloon Fest tickets and Register.  We expect rooms to go quickly.  Register HERE. \nDetails\nFriday\, January 10th: \n\nPrescott departure:\n\nMeet at the Pangea Bakery located at:  1260 Gail Gardner Way #105\, Prescott\, AZ 86305 for the driver’s meeting at 10:45 am.  Departure is planned for 11:00 am.   Come early and grab some snacks for the ride.\nThe group will head to Skull Valley and then to Kirkland. From there we will head to Yarnell and follow SR 89 to 71 and then to SR 60. We will take a gas and bio break at the Mobil station (Salome Market) Salome\, AZ. DESCRIPTION:Join the club on a tour to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert with Dinner and Overnight at the La Posada Hotel in Winslow\, AZ.  Optional Day Two visit to Meteor Crater. \nOur tour will begin in Prescott\, stopping in Camp Verde for Flagstaff and Verde Valley members to join up. Then we’ll head up Highway 260 and on through Pine\, Payson and the White Mountains to Heber/Overgaard where we’ll turn north up to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.  Dinner and overnight at La Posada Hotel.  Register HERE. \n  \nDetails\nWednesday\, September 25th: \n\nPrescott departure: The tour will depart from Prescott at 8:00 am from the Maverick gas station in Dewey.  Please be there ready to go by 7:45am for the drivers meeting.  The group will proceed from there to Camp Verde and join with the other participants.\nSedona/Verde Valley\, Flagstaff members departure:  Camp Verde at the Burger King on Highway 260 just a couple blocks East from the I-17 exit for members joining the drive from other areas. Please be at Burger King no later than 8:15 am. State Route 89a in Sedona.  (Just North of Natural Grocers off Kallof Place).\nFlagstaff members meet at 8:00 am for an 8:15 am departure from Swift Travel Center at 3099 W Shamrell Blvd. in Flagstaff.  We will connect with the Verde Valley/Sedona participants then meet with others from Prescott etc. in Ash Fork as described below.\nAll other members can meet in Ash Fork at 9:00 am or join us enroute.  In Ash Fork we will meet at the Ranch House Café at 83 W Park Ave.  It’s on the north-west corner of I-40 and US 89 exit.  Going west on I40\, take Exit 146.  Proceed on to Lewis Ave.\, then left on 1st\, then left on Park.  There are Mobil and Shell service stations.  Meet the group at Ranch House Cafe’.  We will depart from Ranch House Cafe’ at approximately 9:15 am.\nFrom Ash Fork\, the drive route will take us to on old Route 66 and on through Seligman\, Peach Springs and Hackberry before stopping for lunch in Kingman at Dambar’s Steakhouse on Andy Devine Avenue.\nAfter lunch\, the tour will visit Oatman. DESCRIPTION:THE DRIVE FROM PRESCOTT\nMembers will meet near the Roberts Market North at 6640 N Viewpoint Dr Prescott Valley at 3:30 pm for a quick drivers meeting and to sign waivers. Plan on being on the road at 3:45 pm. We will take 89A east over Mingus Mountain and through Jerome to Immaculate Conception Church at 700 N Bill Gray Rd In Cottonwood. Here we will meet The Sedona\, Flagstaff and Verde Valley people. \nRENDEVOUSZ WITH THE PRESCOTT MEMBERS\nMembers from Sedona/Verde Valley\, Flagstaff etc.\, meet the members from Prescott at Immaculate Conception Church at 700 N Bill Gray Rd In Cottonwood.  Be there at 4:45 pm for a 5:00 pm departure to the Blazin’ M Ranch just outside of Cottonwood. \nWHAT TO EXPECT:\nWE WILL ARRIVE TO FRONTIER TOWN AT ABOUT AT 5:15PM.  Get ready for some good food and a fun and entertaining show!\nPorsche Pals can belly up to the bar at Frontier Town’s real western saloon or enjoy a variety of fun activities! SUMMARY:Winter in Wickenburg Driving Tour
DESCRIPTION:Due to expected inclement weather January 15th\, join us now on our first drive of 2023\, Sunday\, January 22nd! There is no charge at registration for this event\, but please re-register on MotorsportReg (www.MotorsportReg.com) so we have an updated headcount. This is a beautiful drive to warmer environs – Wickenburg. There we will have lunch at Rancho de Los Caballeros. \nDetails\nSunday\, January 22nd – meet at 10:00 AM in the parking lot area close to Pangea Bakery located at Gail Gardner Way & Iron Springs Rd in Prescott. Drivers meeting and PCA waiver signing\, etc. prior to departure at 10:30AM with arrival at the restaurant in Wickenburg around Noon. \nIt is anticipated that we will run two drive groups departing a few minutes apart. Last year there was close to 50 people for lunch. \nThe drive will proceed from the starting point through Skull Valley to Hwy 89 then South to Wickenburg. Return drive will be via White Spar (winding Hwy 89) from Wilhoit to Prescott and will end at the intersection of White Spar Rd and Copper Basin Rd. in Prescott. \nMenu\nRancho de Los Caballeros will serve a buffet lunch that includes; Salad\, Entree\, Dessert and Soft Drinks for $25 +tax and tip.
