SUMMARY:Durango & Silverton Drive
DESCRIPTION:This multi-day event travels through Northern Arizona and explores Durango and Silverton Colorado with options to ride the Silverton Railroad\, and enjoy the  “Million Dollar Highway”.  These towns of historic charm\, outdoor adventure\, and stunning mountain scenery are some of the country’s most dramatic.  The travel also includes an optional journey through the San Juan Mountains.  Register HERE! \nDetails\n\nSeptember 17\n\nPrescott Area members please meet behind the Maverik station on Country Club Blvd. just off of AZ 69 near Dewey at 8:30 am.  We will have a brief drivers meeting and sign waivers.\n At 9:30 we will head to the Burger King in Camp Verde to pick up our Sedona\, Flagstaff and members from other areas and do a meeting with them and sign their waivers. Plan on departing at 10:00 SHARP\nBecause of limited resources\, driving across the Navajo Nation\, our next stop will not be for about 3 hours. Please be gassed up and take your bathroom breaks at the Maverik station or the Burger King. Our stop will be at the Speedwayconvenience store/gas station in Kayenta so buy snacks or pack a lunch because there is no scheduled lunch stop.\nDinner is on your own the first night and we are still working on the dinner plans for the evening of the 18th. You can take the train or the bus or drive your Porsche to Silverton or if you are a daring soul you can drive the Million Dollar Highway! DESCRIPTION:This is a beautiful drive to the warmer environs of Wickenburg on Saturday\, January 17th. There we will have lunch at Rancho de Los Caballeros.
