DESCRIPTION:Following up from the very successful event in 2023\, the Region will once again be serving our Veterans.  This year beyond donating to the cause\, members can sign up to give veterans rides on November 16 and sponsor lunch for themselves and a veteran at the Northern Arizona VA Care Center.  Last year we raised $4\,000 together and this year we approaching the goal of over $6\,000. \nDetails\n\nSaturday\, November 16th  – 10:00 am  – 2:00 pm\nNorthern Arizona VA Care Center — Turn into the center and go straight to 1st parking lot on the left to join the event.\nSchedule\n\n10:00am for “Drive Along” Volunteers to assemble\nLunch at 11:30 am -1:00 pm\nEvent ends around 2:00 pm\nSponsor lunch for yourself and the vets.  2 for 1 hot dog meal- $20.00.  Includes two hot dogs\, two french fries and two drinks.  Even if you’re not attending you can buy a meal for a Vet in advance. — Buy a meal HERE\nRegistration to attend on November 16 is HERE.\nYou can still donate to the overall effort HERE.\n\n\n\nQuestions\n\nContact Lorraine Friedman at friedmanlorrainem@gmail.com\n\n \n

DESCRIPTION:Join the club on a tour to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert with Dinner and Overnight at the La Posada Hotel in Winslow\, AZ.  Optional Day Two visit to Meteor Crater. \nOur tour will begin in Prescott\, stopping in Camp Verde for Flagstaff and Verde Valley members to join up. Then we’ll head up Highway 260 and on through Pine\, Payson and the White Mountains to Heber/Overgaard where we’ll turn north up to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.  Dinner and overnight at La Posada Hotel.  Register HERE. \n  \nDetails\nWednesday\, September 25th: \n\nPrescott departure: The tour will depart from Prescott at 8:00 am from the Maverick gas station in Dewey.  Please be there ready to go by 7:45am for the drivers meeting.  The group will proceed from there to Camp Verde and join with the other participants.\nSedona/Verde Valley\, Flagstaff members departure:  Camp Verde at the Burger King on Highway 260 just a couple blocks East from the I-17 exit for members joining the drive from other areas. Please be at Burger King no later than 8:15 am.
